Blog Post 2

Over Easter weekend I was able to spend a great amount of time with my step-dad. We started a project that is expected to take a bit of time. I'm looking forward to working on this with him because of the time we will spend together. What we have decided to do is remodel the house ourselves. This is something he has taught me a lot about and I have found a great passion for remodeling and repurposing. This is one of the things we have found to have in common. Yes we have a ton of work to do and we have valuable conversations about family, politics and faith but I also find value in working in the silence. Just woking along side someone and having someone in the room with you doing something you both enjoy is a beneficial experience. I'm looking forward to continue working on this project and soon finishing it so we can enjoy the work that we have done together.
