As I reflect over the conversations and time spent with me and my mentor it has really brought a new appreciation to the relationship. Many questions about how to run and manage a successful business or how to work through hardships were addressed over the different meetings and I couldn't be more thankful for the advice. Whether or not I take over this small construction business there is so much that goes into the whole thing. Clients, employees, equipment, paperwork, and if one thing gets thrown off the whole company can become jeopardized. That's why I'm thankful for this assignment because it forced me in a way to ask questions along those lines and start thinking if this is something I want for myself.
